Early Voting Dates
Thursday, June 11 through Thursday, June 18, 2026
Open every day, including Saturday and Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where do I go?
You can vote at any early voting center in the county where you live. Find your nearest early voting center using the link below.
Not Registered Yet? You Can Still Vote Early.
If you are eligible but not yet registered, you can register and vote at the same time during early voting. Just bring a document that shows where you live, such as a driver's license, utility bill, bank statement, or other government document with your name and address.
Already Registered but Need to Update Your Info?
If you have moved, you can update your address at the early voting center and cast your ballot the same day.
What Should I Expect?
Voting during early voting works the same way as voting on Election Day. You will check in and cast your ballot, and election judges will be available to help if you have questions.
For more information on early voting locations and what to bring, visit the Maryland State Board of Elections website.
Important Notice for Mail-In Voters
Due to a printing error, some voters who were mailed a ballot before May 14, 2026 received the incorrect party ballot. All affected voters will be mailed a replacement ballot.
How to Know if You Were Affected
You were affected if you requested a ballot on or before May 13 and received a ballot in the mail, or if you requested to be a permanent absentee voter on or before May 13 and received a ballot. All affected voters will receive a postcard from the State Board of Elections, and those with emails on file will receive an email notification as well.
How to Identify Your Replacement Ballot
Your replacement ballot will have the words "REPLACEMENT BALLOT" on the envelope and will include a letter entitled "Attention Voter!" Your original ballot did not have either of these.
What to Do Next
Vote the replacement ballot and return it in the envelope marked "Replacement Envelope." Destroy your original ballot packet. Do not return both ballots.
Your Vote Will Count
There is no risk of duplicate voting. Election officials have safeguards in place to ensure that only one ballot is counted per voter.
Deadline
Replacement ballots must be postmarked, dropped at a ballot drop box, or returned to a polling place or local board by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, June 23, 2026.
Prefer to Vote in Person Instead?
You can cancel your mail-in ballot online at vote.md.gov/update and then vote at your polling place or during early voting.
