LCV Action Fund Endorses New Slate of Candidates for U.S. House of Representatives

Aug 20, 2026

Washington D.C. – The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, which works to elect candidates who will fight to lower energy costs, build a clean energy economy, protect our communities’ air and water, and strengthen our democracy for all, announced seven endorsements for the U.S. House of Representatives. Endorsements include Representative Darren Soto (FL-09), and candidates for U.S. House of Representatives Amish Shah (AZ-01), Adrian Boafo (MD-05), Christina Hines (MI-10), Will Lawrence (MI-07), Sean McCann (MI-04), and Greg Landsman (OH-01).

“While Trump and Republicans in Congress are making life more unaffordable for families and enriching their billionaire polluter cronies, these candidates are putting people first and supporting the clean energy solutions we need to lower record-high energy bills and reduce pollution,” said LCV Action Fund Vice President of Federal Policy Matthew Davis. “Communities cannot afford Trump’s reckless agenda to fund record profits for Big Polluters while the climate crisis and extreme weather increasingly wreaks havoc on livelihoods. Last month was our country’s hottest on record — we are all in to elect candidates who will address the climate crisis, hold polluting corporations accountable, and protect our communities and future generations.”

About LCV Action FundThe League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, the connected federal political action committee (PAC) of the League of Conservation Voters, works to elect leaders who stand up for a clean, healthy environment and to defeat anti-environment candidates who oppose climate action. Since the 1990 election cycle, LCVAF has helped elect and re-elect 101 U.S. Senators and 513 members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Over the last several years, our efforts have also helped elevate climate change and clean energy as critical issues in key elections.
